Privacy
Who is responsible for your data, and who can see it
In effect from 18 September 2026.
This notice is about the website: what happens to the information you enter in the forms here. It does not cover how the practice handles its correspondence afterwards, nor the treatment records created at the practice — those are governed by Hungarian healthcare law, and you will be told about them when treatment begins.
| Item | Value |

You can reach us about any privacy question at any of the above.
Who can see it
Your information is seen by the practice’s dentists and staff. Beyond them, the following providers — processors — may have access, strictly as far as their own service requires:
| Processor | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia) | serves the website and stores attachments | EU (Germany, replica in Sweden) |
| Scaleway SAS (France) | sends the notification emails; hosts our analytics server | EU (Paris, France) |
| MASSIVE CORPORATION Kft. (Hungary) | builds and operates the website | EU (Hungary) |
The website and its storage run entirely on EU servers. The notification email goes to the practice’s published address (see the Contact page), which is provided by Google (Gmail); from that point the correspondence sits in the practice’s own mailbox. We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for advertising or any other commercial purpose.
What we collect, on what basis, and how long we keep it
The site has two forms. Both are optional — you can use the site without them, and you can simply call us instead.
1. Contact form
| Field | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Name | so we can address you in our reply |
| Email address | this is where we reply |
| Phone number | when a call settles the question faster |
| Message | the enquiry itself |
| Attachment (optional) | when a photo or document helps us answer |
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries — GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f).
2. Referral form for colleagues
This form is filled in by a referring dentist, about a patient.
| Field | Whose data |
|---|---|
| Patient’s name and phone number | the patient’s |
| Tooth concerned, description of the complaint | the patient’s — health data |
| Attachment: X-ray, records (optional) | the patient’s — health data |
| Referring dentist’s name and email | the colleague’s |
Legal basis: for the referring dentist’s own details, our legitimate interest in staying in contact (Article 6(1)(f)). For the patient’s health data, the provision of health care — GDPR Article 9(2)(h), together with Hungarian Act XLVII of 1997 on the processing of health and related personal data. This information is handled under medical confidentiality.
If you are a patient and your dentist sent us your details, we did not receive them from you. This paragraph is the notice required by GDPR Article 14: we received the information from your referring dentist, we use it only to prepare your care, and you have all the rights listed below. If you would rather we did not hold it, write to micronovafog@gmail.com and we will delete it.
What we never ask for
We do not ask for or handle social security numbers, identity document numbers or payment details through this website.
How long we keep it
The website does not store your submission. Nothing goes into a database when you send the form: it is forwarded by email to the practice’s mailbox straight away, and nothing is left behind on the website’s side. From then on it is part of the practice’s correspondence, exactly as if you had written to us directly.
Only the uploaded files are stored, and those have a deadline:
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| The fields you filled in | not stored by the website — forwarded to the practice’s mailbox immediately |
| Uploaded attachments in storage | 180 days, then deleted automatically |
| The download link in the notification email | expires after 180 days and stops working |
| The email in the practice’s mailbox | as long as handling the matter requires; if treatment begins it becomes part of the medical record, and the retention period in Act XLVII of 1997 applies |
Deleting the attachments is not a promise someone has to remember: a job runs daily and removes files older than 180 days from storage.
Security
- The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Attachments go straight from your browser into private storage; the files are not reachable at any public address.
- The notification email carries a unique, expiring link rather than the file itself, and the link cannot be guessed.
- Access is limited to people who need it for their work.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
It stores exactly one thing in your browser: if you switch between the light and dark appearance yourself, that choice is remembered so the site looks the same next time. It never leaves your browser, does not identify you, and goes away when you clear your browser data. Leave the switch alone and the site writes nothing at all.
We measure visits with Umami, running on our own server — not Google
Analytics. It works without cookies: it records which page was viewed, where
the visit came from, the browser, operating system and device type, and the
approximate country. It does not identify you and does not follow you to
other websites. Measurement happens only on micronova.hu.
We record no heatmaps and no screen recordings. That is a deliberate exclusion: on pages carrying a patient’s name and complaint, the risk is out of all proportion to the benefit.
The forms are protected by an automated-abuse check called ALTCHA. It has your browser perform a short calculation, and works without cookies and without collecting anything about you.
Your rights, complaints, changes
You can ask us at any time to
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- delete your data;
- restrict processing while a disputed point is settled;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- give you your data in a portable form.
Write to micronovafog@gmail.com. We reply within one month at the latest, and it costs you nothing.
We make no decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you.
If you want to complain
Come to us first — most questions are settled with one email. Beyond that, you can complain to the supervisory authority:
Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest · Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9. Phone: +36 1 391 1400 · Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu · naih.hu
You can also go to court, at the tribunal for your place of residence or stay.
If this changes
If this notice changes in any substantive way, we will update the date at the top. Worth a look if it has been a while.
Accessibility
We hold this site to WCAG 2.2 AA, and check it both automatically and by hand while it is built: contrast in both themes, keyboard operation, a visible focus ring, screen readers, and the mobile layout at real device widths.
- Last checked: 20 September 2026.
- Known non-conformance: none.
- If you hit a barrier, write to micronovafog@gmail.com. We answer within one month, and on request we will make the content available to you in another form.
